Meet Nicolas
With a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Science degree in Rural Community Development, Nicolas brings over eight years of expertise to the table, focusing on his passion for community development and economic growth.
He is the Chief Executive Officer at AL MAWSAM, a distribution company supporting local small-scale producers, and currently works as an Economic Growth Consultant, collaborating with various organizations to foster sustainable economic development.
Throughout his career, Nicolas has held diverse roles, including managing the Souk El Tayeb Farmers’ Market, leading the outreach and operations of the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit at the American University of Beirut, and coordinating the Strong Cities Network's PVE Program in Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq.
His notable work centers around important issues such as food security, social innovation during times of crises, improving local small-holders’ access to markets, preventing violent extremism, and conducting research on contract farming for effective implementation in the region.

Michel is a passionate entrepreneur with a diverse background in engineering and a natural talent for sales. Throughout his career, Michel has ventured into various industries, including rural tourism and transportation, and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at AL MAWSAM.
With his expertise in soft skills and knowledge transfer, he has successfully transformed numerous ideas into practical market access solutions.
As the driving force behind the sales department and commercial activities, Michel's strategic acumen shines through. He is the mastermind behind the integration of slow-food products into the mainstream market, ensuring their growth and prominence in selected locations.
With a chef's heart, Michel's impeccable taste enables him to seamlessly blend these products into their targeted markets, effectively reaching the intended audiences.
